Welcome to BxSci Machine Learning!

We are a group of students from The Bronx High School of Science who are passionate about machine learning. Despite Bronx Science's numerous computer science courses (App Development, Game Programming, and APCS), none of the courses deep dive into machine learning. We hope address the lack of ML curriculum with engaging presentations and fun projects.

What We Do

BxSci Machine Learning Club aims to bring the complex and vast topic of machine learning to high school students. We will touch on a variety of topics, including SVMs, Neural Networks, Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, and more.

Blogging

We created The Perceptron, a student run blog which focuses on the practical applications of Machine Learning in the 21st century. We give all club members the opportunity to do research on topics that interest them and write posts on our blog.

Club Mentors

The BxSci Machine Learning Club would not exist without the support of our amazing mentors: Dr. Joanne Gensert, the in-school club advisor, and Ms. Misha Aylas, a technology analyst at Accenture.
